Whilst speedway fans up and down the country wait for news about a resumption of racing in 2020, a working weekend has been planned for the Smallbrook Stadium.
Starting on Thursday afternoon, Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning, volunteers are welcome to pop by and help progress the ongoing maintenance work around the stadium complex with specific attention being given to the grass and vegetation growth that has flourished recently.
If you plan to attend, please wear appropriate garden gear and bring shears, pruners or loppers. Barry and Martin will be pleased to thank anyone who can assist with plenty of refreshments available to sustain those involved.
