Three On The Bounce For Jason Waring and The 'Wightlink' Warriors

As the battle to avoid the National League wooden spoon draws to a climax, the Warriors have received the great news that Jason Waring the Barnsley based speedway fan and sponsor will continue his support for the Island side for the 2018 season. Jason who committed to the Warriors after a chance meeting with Barry Bishop in Warsaw during the Warsaw GP in 2015,

and then became an instrumental part of Team Warrior where he travelled down to the Isle of Wight to work on the track and stadium at Smallbrook to help return the club to the shale.

Jason added, “Well the season is nearly over and I for one can't wait for next season. It's been a great year for me, with Sheffield Tigers lifting the Trophy to become League Champions and the Warriors proving what a great community club they are. To be able to sponsor Josh Bates and The Warriors, makes me feel more than just a supporter, I am really part of their successes. Sadly, I haven't been able to attend the I.O.W due to work commitments but hopefully I'll get the chance in 2018. The Warriors have become my 2nd family since I first visited 2 yrs ago. So today having spoken to Barry, I am proud to sponsor the Warriors for the 3rd season on the bounce in 2018.”

The Wightlink Warriors Commercial Director Barry Bishop commented, “I am so proud to welcome back Jason to the Wightlink Warriors in 2018. Jason is one of our incredible long distance sponsors who see what we do as a club and want to be part of that. Jason is so committed he gave his time and money to help the club get on track two years ago and now he is back sponsoring us for the third year in a row. Having our sponsors come back year after year and with new ones coming along too, is just amazing, truly makes us feel humble and proud of our achievements both on and off the track and for that Martin and I are extremely thankful. Jason it gives me great pleasure to welcome you back to the Wightlink Warriors in 2018.”
