The Warriors head to the seaside for their next taste of action but it won’t be candy floss and ice cream that holds their attention, more a speedway cup encounter with the ultra-professional Eastbourne Eagles.
Needing to rally after the disappointment of last Thursdays slip up against Plymouth, Warriors will have to do battle without number one rider Ben Morley who is on duty for Championship side Lakeside so former Eagle Josh Bailey (Mildenhall) steps in as cover.
No other changes to the Warriors line-up are planned so the teams are expected to be:
Eagles – Danny Ayres (guest for Mark Baseby), Kelsey Dugard, Tom Brennan, Charley Powell, Georgie Wood, Charlie Brooks and Jason Edwards.
Warriors – Josh Bailey (guest for Ben Morley), Danno Verge, Scott Campos, Chris Widman, Ben Hopwood, Jamie Sealey and Adam Portwood.
The return leg is at The Andrew Younie Smallbrook Stadium on Thursday evening.
