The Warriors head to Stoke on Saturday night (19.00) for a National League fixture hoping to build on last Tuesday’s win over Plymouth and with two former Stoke riders in the visitors line up there is quiet confidence about achieving a close result.
Chris Widman and Shaun Tedham have both been part of past Stoke teams and as such have had many, many laps round the Loomer Road circuit – they therefore become key riders for this meeting and solid scores will be vital.
Early team news is that the six regular Warriors are all available for the meeting with the vacant reserve berth to be filled on this occasion by Scottish rider Dale Lamb.
In other news just in, former Warrior Ben Hopwood has been snapped up by Plymouth to replace James Cockle who has asked to leave the club.
