Fresh from a win on home shale last Tuesday, the Isle of Wight ‘Wightlink’ Wizards speedway team head East on Sunday (12 August) to take on the Kent Kestrels in the Southern Development League (SDL).
The meeting will be staged at the training facility at Iwade near Swale on the banks of the River Medway and unusually will form part of a triple header meeting as the Kestrels will also be taking on Exeter and Weymouth before the Wizards get on track.
Those who attended the home SDL fixture against Kent will remember what a strong quartet the Kestrels can be, running out with six maximum heat wins in a power packed display and therefore it’s no surprise that the Wizards have gathered together their best riders for this meeting.
