Vince Mapley Memorial 2nd Leg & Essex Driver Training Ltd Island Masters

The Wightlink Warriors have it all to do against the Cradley Heathens in Tuesday's Vince Mapley Memorial 2nd leg at Smallbrook Stadium after going down 24 points to an inform Cradley side in the 1st leg, so there is much to be done.
Warriors Team Manager Martin Widman, has been boosted by the news that Warriors Captain Arran Butcher is set to return to the track after recovering from a broken hand and will add greater strength in depth to the squad. Ben Morley and Darryl Ritchings will again lead the team joined by 15 year olds Ryan Ingram and Charlie Southwick with the final spot to be confirmed.
For the Heathens, boss Andy Hawthorn has bolstered his team with come back man James Shanes in at number 1 and a return of the very impressive Mark Parker, Danno Verge returns as Captain and is sure to want to retain the trophy and long time Heathens Connor Coles and Nathan Hargrave another on track highlight.
So, it's all to play for and it is going to be an intense meeting with two strong teams both team hungry to take the title home. The action starts at 7pm.
In addition to the Vince Mapley Memorial we are returning to GT140 action with the Essex Driver Training Island Masters powered by One Estate Agents. A top line up of GT 140 stars return to Smallbrook include the Wayne and Max Broadhurst, multi tallented Eddie Kennett, Steve Newsham, last year's champion Ian Clark and Adam Hawker. It's 8 riders to a race and get ready for a fury of on track action.
Gates open at 5.30pm and we start with the kids racing at 6.10pm, riders parade at 6.45pm and first race from 7pm.
Entry £15 adults, £12 Seniors and children 16 and under go free.
