Rider Licence Information

Wightlink Warriors speedway promoting duo of Barry Bishop and Martin Widman are pleased to confirm that affiliation to Nora Motorsports is in place and Wight Warriors Speedway Ltd is now listed on the Nora website (www.nora92.com) where riders can apply for licences under the club name.

Those planning to race will need an Adult Competition Licence. A basic version is £55 without Personal Accident cover but participants can take out an advanced licence for £80 which would include it. Hopefully we may get the chance to go international and that licence also includes worldwide repatriation to a level of £150,000 for £190.

Youth Competition licences (Youth Speedway) are £50 Basic and £70 including Personal Accident Cover.

Those wishing to practice only can obtain a Practice Licence for Adult/Youth which is £25.

Day Licence Information Card 80p (so riders only use their number). Practise Day Licence £1.50 and Race £5.00.

Once in the sales basket on the Nora site, follow the online instructions ensuring you select Wight Warriors Speedway Ltd as your club (unless you have another). Feedback shows registration to be a straightforward process, however a useful tip on the photo registration is that the image must be less than 2MB – most phones save photos in a high resolution that have a greater size.
