COVENTRY 'Bees' vs ISLE OF WIGHT 'Warriors'

The Warriors start a run of three meetings in five days when they head for Leicester tomorrow (Sunday) to take on the Coventry Bees in the National League.  It's then on to Birmingham on Wednesday evening for another league encounter before returning to home shale on Thursday to take on Kent in the National Trophy.


Having been beaten on the Island a little over a week ago, the home side will be out to turn the tables and are able to name a full strength side for the meeting.  For the Warriors, Adam Portwood is still unavailable and his place at reserve will be taken by the unattached Sam Woods.  Chris Widman is expected to have recovered from the neck spasms that forced him out of the Vince Mapley meeting on Thursday evening.


Bees: Connor Mountain, Luke Harris, Luke Ruddick, Jon Armstrong, Danny Phillips, Jamie Halder and Ryan MacDonald.


Warriors: Ben Morley, Danno Verge, Scott Campos, Chris Widman, Ben Hopwood, Sam Woods and Shaun Tedham.


Coventry 59 Isle of Wight 31


No luck for the Warriors at Leicester this afternoon as Coventry ran out winners by 28 points.
