The media company Speedway Portal that provide the’ Wightlink’ Warriors with its media channel, website, rider interviews and so, so much more have increased and strengthened their ties with the club even further.
The Portal’s Andy Hague said, “We are going into our third season with the ‘Wightlink’ Warriors and we wouldn't have it any other way, it’s where we started. We have grown alongside the Warriors fully documenting the journey so far and look forward to adding another chapter this year. The ethos of the club mirrors our own, and to have the freedom from the club to implement new ideas working with them is simply brilliant. This year also sees a new Media Partner for the Portal, MCM Construction has come on board, helping us to bring the Warrior fans not only all the action, but behind the scenes footage as well. The Warriors Portal team has grown as well, welcoming Islander Bruce Buckland on board to assist with Portal duties at the stadium. It's a busy year for the Portal ahead, but we are pleased Barry and Martin still believe in us, as we do in them. Buckle up, there's going to be some great rides in Ryde this year, and we will be capturing every one of them! “
Isle of Wight ‘Wightlink’ Warriors Co-Promoter Barry Bishop added, “Andy and Speedway Portal have been with our club from the start and from an initial offer to document our club’s return we have developed the most amazing of relationships. There are simply too many things to say about everything that Andy Hague does for the club, but I can say that it’s all superb, he lives Warriors, he wants our club to grow and develop, he is so proud of our successes and helps us build after a fall. It’s true to say that Andy Hague and Speedway Portal are as a much part of the Wightlink Warriors as the shale on the track - it’s just not possible to be what we are without them. Andy, Paul and now Bruce are fans, friends, advisors, believers, helpers, visionaries and sponsors; we could not be without them. It gives me great pleasure to welcome home Speedway Portal for 2018.”
