KASPRZAK BOOST-ER FOR ROCKETS

Polish international racer Krzysztof Kasprzak is back at Rye House and eagerly looking forward to helping the BMR Rockets launch their bid for Premiership silverware in 2018.  Known to his fans as Special K, the Leszno based racer is over the moon to be rejoining the club for a second successive season, and is looking to reproduce the form that made him such a big favourite with the Rye House fans last year.

Speaking from his base in Poland, Krzysztof said 'I am really happy to be back at the club, it is like a dream coming true.  I have been hoping since last November that co-promoter Steve Jenson would call and offer me a place in this year’s side, as I had such a good time with the team during 2017.  So when he did it was easy for me to say yes and agree terms.’

‘I think the team looks very good, as everyone is a good rider and can win races and score points.  Peter Schroeck is a good team boss and will look after us really well, which makes me believe that we can go one better than last season and get into the end of season play-offs.  I really think that we are good enough to put in a strong challenge for the title.’

Kasprzak was nothing short of sensational on his club debut last July, scoring maximum points in Rockets surprise 60 – 30 win at Poole and finished the season with a 6.95 average, making him a target for the BMR Rockets promotion.

‘It is important for me to do well for the Rockets’ he continued.  ‘I have been working very hard in the gym since the end of December and feel in good shape.  I have also invested in a lot of new equipment which I will be bringing over for the start of the season in March.  I really can’t wait to get back and say hello to everyone at the club.’
