If you are missing that speedway terrace feeling and chatting to your friends about speedway, then this is good news for you.
Starting tomorrow, Tuesday (February 2nd) at 7pm the Warriors will stage our first “Warrior’s Fan Chat” of the season, giving fans an opportunity to join a conference Zoom call to speak with each other.
Warriors co-promoter Barry Bishop said, “It was another moment when I thought to myself it’s time to do something a little different again and Andy Hague and I were looking for something to keep our interaction going with fans. The moment came when I heard of a call among fans last week and how beneficial this call had been to the participants. I immediately reached out to Andy from Speedway Portal to ask about the practicalities of doing “Fan Chat” and then Ian Groves who designed the logo.
The point of fan chat is for anyone who needs a good old chinwag or if you feel a bit lonely perhaps, to join the conference call on Tuesday at 7pm by emailing WarriorsFanChat@yahoo.com. We will send you the code to use for the zoom call and hopefully we can all enjoy a chat, a drink and talk about speedway/Warriors, well anything you like really -it’s an open forum.
If this is a success, we plan to stage the zoom calls weekly, inviting special guests too but it’s more about touching base with fans and having time for each other and of course a good old catch up. I will be on the first call tomorrow for sure and I cannot wait to speak with you.”
